There are many ways to make your blog more appealing - stock photos, infographics, distinctive fonts, icons, textures, illustrations...

Here are my suggestions for some great sites that offer graphics, fonts and more for your blog. Some of these are free, while others are paid. When choosing free elements, be sure to read the terms of use, as some sites require that you give attribution to the source.

Pixeden

This site is a great option for graphics like patterns, templates, and icons. Also offered are website themes and email templates. To get access to a larger selection of assets at a price that’s more affordable than purchasing individual items elsewhere, you can choose one of their paid membership options.

Vecteezy

If you like designing with vectors, you’ll want to check out Vecteezy. Here you’ll find a large assortment of vectors that can be resized and customized with your choice of colors. I can always find graphics I need easily on this site. You'll need to have a vector design program like Adobe Illustrator, which is a part of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs, to make these changes. Learn more about paid vs free design programs here. You can choose from their free graphics or you can upgrade to their paid premium package.

Font Squirrel

Font Squirrel is another great source for quality free fonts. There are so many choices!  I love finding specific fonts to use for my client's projects.  The fonts you use will say a lot about your branding. If you do use any from this site, make sure and read the terms for each one.

Design Cuts

Design Cuts is like Creative Market in their offerings, along with the fact that they offer an affordable monthly bundle. This site though represents a select group of artists, meaning their inventory is smaller, but you know you’re always getting the best quality from extremely talented designers. What’s really great is Design Cuts discount program. The more you buy, the more you save.

Styled Stock Society

Styled Stock Society provides professional-quality feminine stock photos for the female entrepreneur. So if you're a fempreneur and looking for those types of styled photos then this is where to find them. Their photos often include a pink color scheme though there are others as well. You'll find variety of desktops arrangements, floral, coffee, food and more. Subscribe to their email list to get 10 free stock photos immediately PLUS new freebies in your inbox every month!

Creative Market

Creative Market is by far one of the best-known names for high quality design assets. A wide selection of graphic designers set up pages here to show what they have to offer. You can find practically any type of asset you need, from fonts to photo filters, which by the way, are a good way make stock images fit your blog's brand... Each month, you can purchase a highly-discounted bundle of assets, as well. This is a great way for you to grow a library of graphic resources for your blog. Sign up for their mailing list, and you can even get free design goodies each Monday.

There are many other resources out there but I find that these are reliable and trust worthy. Check them out and use what works for you.  Are there any other great sites that you've used?
